You carry me
as carrion
In hubris hold.
Displayed
Exposed
Tattered trophy
ravaged ragged
barely lucid,
body savaged
each red-black respective drop
counts its patterns profane cost
Last verses written
ink now set
the rusted refrains
of the body vandal’s lament
